Using a Huskee log splitter will enable you to get all the hard work done easily and a lot quicker too! I mean why chop wood when you can put your Huskee to work for you.
You can split any type of wood very easily so you can be prepared for the cold winter ahead. There are three models of Huskee log splitter currently available 22 ton, 28 ton and the 35 ton.
First up is the 22 ton version. This one has had a lot of mixed reviews, many good and several not so good. The main issue for many people has been a problem with starting.
It has been suggested that although the manual calls for 87 octane, 91- 93 would be better, with a corresponding spark plug, which seems to have cured some of the starting issues.
I would however check this with your dealer first. Some users have also suggested changing the Briggs & Stratton engine for a Honda one as these do not seem to suffer from the same issues.
Having said that the majority of users seem to be happy with their purchase and the way it performs. Overall this Huskee log splitter appears to be a decent mid-sized splitter and should be able to cope with just about anything you can throw at it. Furthermore it has a number of features that various other makes of higher priced models don't have
The Huskee 28 Ton Log Splitter with it's 1900 Honda engine handles tougher, harder woods with ease. It's just the thing for splitting just about any wood and is easy to haul around with you where ever you need to go. You can get take all the hard work out of chopping wood with this splitter, enabling you to finish quicker.
This has a larger stronger frame and wider foot base than the 22 ton version. One minor issue is the wedge which is a little narrow and will on occasion cut the wood and not split it all the way, In which case I just it or turn it over and do it again.
If you intend doing more and heavier work than this may be a better choice.
There is more than enough power in the Huskee 35 Ton Log Splitter to deal with the toughest of tasks. It's excellent for splitting pretty much any wood efficiently and economically.
This Huskee log splitter is powerful enough to deal with the most challenging knot-filled wood, and yet is small enough to move around easily. This tool will enable you to get the job done smarter by saving you time and effort.
This not necessarily the fastest machine, but it is tough and it keeps on going. This is a true power house, starts easily and the additional power makes it worth the additional price tag.
